Forgiving others

A collect that I need to take note of, copied brazenly from http://captainsacrament.blogspot.com/

Almighty God, in obedience to your command to forgive, I commend to you N. I forgive his sins against me, especially ______________. I acknowledge that you are the only one righteous, and that like N., I stand as a sinner in need of your grace. I know also that I have from time to time committed similar sins, and even worse. Please forgive N., and forgive me. Please bless and heal N., and help him to grow in relationship with you, that both he and I would come to delight in your will and walk in your ways, to the glory of your name. Amen.

Lord, help me to apply this, to my wife in my present hopefully temporary row, but more importantly to the conspirators at my old church. Amen.

  1. A special gift for you from the wilderness...
Not one child of God will be put in a hell fire no matter what their sins. It never entered the heart or mind of God to ever do such a thing and I prove it by the word of God at http://minigoodtale.wordpress.com The true Gospel now delivered sets all free.

  2. NOt too sure what you're getting at and too busy to follow your link, so sorry if i have missed the point.

I beleive the scriptures clearly teach that there is a hell, and that people do go to it.

The gospel is FOR all, but it is not foisted on those that do not take up the offer.

If this is not the case and everyone goes to heaven, then there is little motivation for preaching. As Paul says, why not sin more that Grace may abound?

Ut I thikn you may also have missed the point - the circumstances promting me to post are not about trying to save my skin from hell, they are about trying to live in harmony with my fellow believers here and now.
